A Hawaiian-inspired reef, streaming 24/7 from Vancouver.

🌺 The Story

It all started with a trip to Maui. Snorkeling over the reefs, watching the fish dart through the coral — I knew I wanted to bring a piece of that home. I'd kept freshwater tanks before, but saltwater was a whole new world.

In May 2025, "I Miss Hawaii" was born — an Innovative Marine EXT 75mixed reef in Vancouver, Canada. The tank is stocked with species that remind me of Hawaiian waters, though the ban on Hawaiian wild exports means true endemics are hard to come by. The tilefish — especially Sushi, my skunk tilefish who's like a puppy — are the namesake stars, and the reason this site is called tilefi.sh.

The tank streams 24/7 on Twitch as spoiledfishies, complete with chat commands for tank parameters, reef trivia, and camera switching. This site is the public visitor center — come explore!
